FOURTH FRIDAY MINI YOGA NIDRA SESSIONS THIS SUMMER

Join Kathi on the fourth Friday mornings this summer (June 28th, July 26th, and August 23rd) at 9:15 am for thirty-minute yoga nidra sessions.  Yoga nidra has been called "yogic sleep" and is designed to help support you in living according to your powerful intention.  Bring anything you need to be comfortable resting in stillness in savasana for these free sessions.  No need to register.


SUMMER READING BOOK CLUB

A few of us have decided to read Codependent No More by Melodie Beattie this summer.  This gives us a book for another studio summer reading!  If you read with us last year, you'll remember the participation option was significant.  This year, the book lends itself to something much lighter.  We will host meetings at the beginning, middle, and end of the reading for anyone who wants to connect in-person over the book, but they aren't necessary.  We are looking at a timeframe of mid-August to early-October for reading, and the cost is $18, which includes the book.  Please complete this Form by Monday, July 29th if you'd like to join.


RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH A TOUCH OF THAI, JULY 26th
Class is full!  Be on the lookout for the next one!  Susan and Jennifer will guide students through a gentle practice of stillness in a few restorative shapes, offering presses along the way.  Friday, July 26th, 6:15-7:45 pm, $25, only sixteen spaces available, please register here by July 24th.


SPECIAL EDITION OF VIN-YIN WITH APRIL ROSE ACOUSTIC, AUGUST 8th

Just for fun!  If you join for Thursday evening 6:15 VIN-YIN with Holly, you'll have the treat of hearing April play!  She'll sing us through our practice!  Regular class rates apply, no registration needed.


SUNDAY GIVE 
Our Sunday morning $5 GIVE classes meet in the studio at 11 am, led by a rotation of Firefly teachers.  Your donations each quarter benefit a usually-local charitable organization.  This time, your donations support the Down Syndrome FOUNDATION of Florida.  The FOUNDATION provides people with Down syndrome and families opportunities to enhance their lives through strategic partnerships, unique programs that create 'inclusion' settings naturally, family support, and meaningful community involvement.  We are so grateful for your support of our classes that help us share your kindness and generosity. 

OUR ORLANDO CLASS AT FUMC ORLANDO
Even though our building is in Ocoee, we love to share yoga downtown and are so excited to be able to do that!  We are grateful to offer classes in a beautiful, magical space!  Monday night classes are offered at First United Methodist Church Orlando at 142 East Jackson Street at 6:30 pm.  We practice in the third-floor gym with an incredible view of downtown.  Free parking is available in the garage under the church off of Jackson.  Just take the elevator up and walk straight out into the gym.  Class is all-levels and donation-based.  Please be sure to bring your own mat.  As the weather has been nice lately, we sometimes practice on the second floor roof!  Look for us there if you don't see us in the gym.


PRENATAL YOGA 
On Saturday mornings at 8:30 we offer yoga for expecting mamas.  Connect with community and care for your body as you practice and focus on the growing relationship between mom and baby.  


FREE ONCOLOGY YOGA CLASSES

In partnership with the Christina Phipps Foundation, we are offering free classes for those in the cancer community.  These gentle classes (chairs and props available) are led by a rotation of teachers who have been certified by Firefly and the foundation.  Patients, caregivers, and drivers are all welcome.  The classes meet from 6:00-7:00 pm every Sunday evening.  If you have questions, please call 321-695-4511.  For more information, you can visit the foundation's website.

Please bring your own mat to practice if you can!  Join us in-person ONLY if you’re feeling 100%!  If you are experiencing ANY symptoms of any kind - fever, sore throat, runny nose, coughing, sneezing, etc. – we will love to welcome you WHEN YOU FEEL BETTER!  We want to SHARE LOVE NOT GERMS!
